COF#1 - Positional and No rear support till 800.

Well it looks like we set a new club record for attendance at a LR match with 59 shooters today! We had over 100 shooters on the line this past weekend with over 40 + shooters at Saturdays practice.

Once again, the "The Animal" takes home 1st place with an impressive 420 3x. Things are so tight these days if you blow your CBS, you can forget about seeing the top 10.

Conditions were constant on first relay, but a lil more switchy by 2nd relay. I was holding .4 to 1.2 @ 1K between shots and strings.

The 260s are flying well for us. We track all the calibers shot, and 260s and 308win are a tie with about 33% each. The 6.5CM is catching on due to the availability of factory ammo. Some of our guys are too busy to reload.


I notice you boys had a nice showing in Vegas....Mr. Ryan up top once again...

Wow...Somebody bought stock in premier....but if its working for you guys.... Also, you mentioned at 2000 rounds you were needing more elevation.... How many rounds are you guys getting out of your 260's and when are you re-barreling?

I love it when my competition uses Premier.

I'll give them another couple years. They found out quite a bit the first couple years. The next couple is to see if the new design works.

That's one heck of a turn out. Glad to see 260's up top to.

If the 1-10 guys all shot 260 and PHs that does mean they are better or worse than X scope or round. That's just what the good guys shot in that match.

Randall, what does results have to how easy a round is to load for. Last I heard Francis does a lot of load work up and brass and bullet prep.

I made it to 2500 rounds or so in my 260 and it was still hammering. Velocity was slow as hell and it threw fliers if it was dirty, but you can limp them along.

Ok, that makes me feel better about making a 260...since I shoot about 300 rounds a month....Will probably shoot my 308 and save the 260.... (when its built...)

Another note...I bet you anything right now...Ryan can spank most of the guys on your line with a 308win and a Leupold MK4, just like Francis can whoop (and have) us up here with a 308win, 175s going 2700FPS, and a NXS.

It comes down to the trigger puller, not the $$$$ you spend on a rig. If $$$$ matters, I should have won something by now. LMAO.
