Hey hey followed a link here from calguns looks pretty neat just buying my first bolt action 30-06 and yeah it's a savage 111 not sure on optics let the flamming begin. Looking forward to stretching it's legs and learning on jan 23rd let me know if anything changes in the time table |

Welcome! 30-06 is a great round, but the long action may slow you down if in the future you decide to shoot matches. Come on out, shoot what you got, and have some fun. |

leupold seems to be the general choice for optics but im gonna hold off for a little while on getting a new scope for it. I will be upgrading with a scope that I can easily transfer over to a rem 700 someday so my next set of optics will be the one I decide to shoot a very long time. Also thanks for the warm welcome |

Also one thing I am not seeing...jackhats that like to flame on people. Ya'll really do seem like good people so far. oh just picked up a 6$ scope for my rem nylon 66 last night hahah cant wait to bust the dust off it coulda gotten the 16$ one but really..it's a .22 I dont need features at 100-150yrds |

I'd like to participate on the 22nd. Is it okay that I don't have a bolt rifle? I have an LRB M25 (M1A style) in a JAE stock with a premier heritage scope...is something like this okay? Thanks. |

Where do I sign up for the Course Fire A this January. Just got my bolt action all set up a couple months ago. I'm brand new to all this so I'm definitely in need of some help. Thanks. |

Hello all. I have been lurking here for a while. Decided it was time to start posting. I’ve got a Remington 700 BDL in .308 with an IOR 4-14 scope. I don’t seam to see any other wood stock rifles her but I hope it will get me started. If I can get off work I will come and observe or maybe shoot on the 22nd “A course” Kevin |

Where is the place that is in the picture at the beginning of the thread? That looks like a lot of fun shooting out to 1000 yards. The only place I have been able to shoot around here has been the Angeles range out to 600. Are there any plans for going to this place any time soon? |

OK, new the CAPRC. Looks like I missed the last "A" training session until May. I'm gonna try and show up at the March 13th "Randall's Revenge" competition. Is there a plan to add any more "A" training sessions? Dan_____ |

Randall, Very interested in doing one of the "A" clinics. Want to start off on the right foot and not develop any weird shooting issues. When the A clinic is schedualed will it be posted here? Also I am interested in you doing a little work on a Remi 700 bolt. What is the best way to contact you? Thanks in advance. Looking forward to being an active and contributing member of the community! |

It will be posted the closer it gets. And best way to Contact Randall is send him a PM on here. He has been very busy the last few months but you should be able to get a hold of him. |

Whether you are on the list or not you will still need to sign up when they announce it. Also you can edit your comment so you don't have to keep posting a new list fyi. |
