Mark and I had a good time yesterday. Does anyone want to shoot .22 at 50 yards Sunday the 28th. Targets are ready!

I don't have a precision .22, but I'll be working on the dot targets/fundamentals at 100y with my .308. Maybe I'll join you with my AR and Spikes 22. conversion just to make you guys look good ;)

Ben and Mark and other CaPRC members,
What do you guys think the idea of having an informal rimfire contest after the CaPRC matches @ Angeles? I was thinking this could be fun. After my first Angeles match (which ended at like noon or one o'clock if I recall), I wasn't quite ready to call it a day but I shot like shit after the match because I was all shot out from shooting so much so fast during the match. It was then that I decided to get a .22LR trainer for myself. I thought I would plink with the rimfire, pretty much for free, after the match to get back whatever marksmanship skills I lost during the match. I figured I would already be at the range anyway, and I would already have a spot on the firing line anyway. So why not plink with some rimfires, have fun, and get better?
I'm not thinking of some super duper tactical rimfire death match or anything. Rather, I was thinking of just some casual contests with rimfires after the match to have some fun.
I'm still working on getting a target-grade rimfire for this. All I have are "sporter" rimfires for the moment. But the idea of rimfire fun after the match appeals to me.

Personally, I am tired after the matches. I shoot it every now and then.

Ah Grasshopper....Your Picture Foo has come a long way....
Now you know that you are not to post the targets so that nobody will have an unfair advantage.....

I put the target together myself and if I did not share that would give me an unfair advantage. I'm going to use the BRNO tomorrow.

Sweet. We'll see how this plays out and if any others are interested in informal rimfire games after the matches.
I'm still working on scoring my Anschutz biathlon rifle, but in the meantime I'll bring my Anschutz sporter with me to the Angeles matches for some rimfire fun. I figure any rimfire action is better than no rimfire action.

I was there.... Where were you?
Windy, Cold, WINDY, COLD, WINDY, COLD.
Did I mention it was WINDY and COLD.
Fingers were numb and the line was less than half full. 2" groups at 50yds with the 22lr was the norm.
