Well this has been by far the biggest group to shoot the monthly Bolt Rifle Match at West End Gun Club. We had 19 Shooters take on the monthly and had some big surprises in how it all ended. I met some new faces, put some names to a few screen names and look forward to next month. I tried some new things with steel, I had a few break downs but we squared it away and will be fixed for next month which will more steel with some additions.

Very well lets move on.

April's Top Shooter goes to Mr. Joe A. Hernandez with an overall score of 685 Points. Joe you have come a long ways and did great. Good Job!.

The Following shooters made their COLD BORE SHOT on the first round.
Ryan Kerr, Brad Bolves, Ron Walter, Steven Roger, Scott Cochran and Charles Roberts. Good Job Men. Next months CB will be past 200 Meters.

Here is the order of finish.
1) Joe Hernandez-685 pts.
2) Ryan Kerr-666 pts.
3) Brad Bolves-608 pts.
4) Randall Rausch-600 pts.
5) James Jeffries-578 pts.
6) Ron Walter-561 pts.
7) Charles Roberts-560 pts.
8) Cameron Wong-475 pts.
9) Joe Villegas-447 pts.
10) Henry Song-435 pts.
11) Kurtis Kreslake-369 pts.
12) Rich Gonzalez-368 pts.
13) Aaron Gifford-366 pts.
14) Brian Leslie-335 pts.
15) Steven Roger-313 pts.
16) Jeff Butler-202 pts. (Semi-Auto)
17) Scott Cochran-200 pts. (DNF-Married with kids, you know the rest) Doh!
18) Ben Serebreni-176 pts. (Semi-Auto) Bro go see the Gun Doctor.
19) John McGaffey-144 pts. (Brandon gave his pops all the wrong dope today) Not a nice way to treat your best man Brandon...

Here's a group picture and a few others the SoCal Crew. Bolt Rifles, Steel Plates and a great day at the range. What's not to like. See you guys next month.

Just curious, why do the pictures get cropped on the side? I just copied and pasted what I had over at Calguns and it cuts off the pictures on the right side.

Thanks for an excellent and safe match...The steel issues will be worked out next month...Didn't do as well as I wanted to, but for my 1st time, I made some good shots...including my cold bore...I need to work more on hold overs and shooting from other positions than prone....Oh, and most important, I will be looking around my vehicle for objects on the ground before trying to back up....will be picking up a sling and a chamber flag (thanks Charlie and the other person who loaned me the chamber flag)...Oh my last name is Rogers....I might have made a mistake signing in since I got up at 3am...

Had fun shooting pistol afterwords with Cam, Randall, Joe, Curtis and Henry....Definately got to balance out my time between rifle and handgun....

Definately will go again...will be working that day, but will try to trade....

It's a forum glitch based on the width of the pictures.
We are working on it.
Eventually, the pictures will scale to fit the page width and allow you to click on them to view fullsize.

Thanks for another fun match Mark. I wish I had done just a little better, but at least I know what I need to work on for the next match. Man, Family Guy is messed up tonight.

So what.
I put my coldbore and then my 2nd coldbore shot through the same hole, just off the left of the orange dot.

By POS I was talking about me :) The gun just lets me know how bad I am doing. I am out of the things to blame, scope working, gun shooting...

Spaniard,
Great match, had a good time despite my poor shooting.
We saw this rattler as we were leaving the range.
