CaPRC match at Angeles 5/9/10
It seems like we are shooting every weekend now, but the next monthly club match is only a couple weeks away.
For those of you that shot the first couple matches, let me know what you liked and did not like so I can be sure to make the next match even better.
Please RSVP here as well, even if you did not shoot the last two matches...

I am looking forward to attending this match....went to the 1st informal one that we held in February...Liked doing the side prone stuff and doing the cold bore....should be better this month since we can now put out our own steel....

I told my mother this would work out great because I'd go shoot the match and then come home and participate in whatever family dinner we have planned. (that's what we've always done) Then she broke the news to me that its going to be brunch this year! I'm out guys, have fun!

It looks like a small group.
That means we can either finish quicker, or shoot more rounds.
Plan on 60 rounds.
If we get tired, we can stop earlier...

With fewer shooters, we are going to do more stages that are 1 shooter at a time.
I figure we are still done by 11:30 though.
Bring your 12yd and 25yd dope.

Storm, the match is held at the far end of the high power range, the left side of the club house.
Don't pay at the club house.
The match is $25.00 and that includes range fees and target frames.
We will collect the money and have you sign the wavers.

I shot some GS loads in sac, and saw you shoot some little groups as well. The ammo is not going to cause that dramatic a shift if nothing else has changed in your loads. If everything was torqued well, you know where the problem most likely lies. If you throw a known reliable scope on the rifle and problems disappear, well, there's confirmation.264Charlie wrote:

My back up is going to be the Falcon off my .22lr unfortunately. That is unless i find a deal i can't pass up on a used Mil/Mil Nightforce before then.
Funds suck at the moment. Just got my SPS V last week and all i need for it now is a NF, rings, and a base. I ordered the A5, badger M5 metal, brake, bolt knob, and had Randall install the brake for me yesterday. Then last week i dropped some serious cash on my 17yr old cat on vet bills and ended up losing him anyway.
If a good deal comes up on a NF i wont pass it up though so if you hear of anyone selling one let me know.
