Just so you know I have gotten some calls about the match from folks I don't know that want in and some that I do know. I tell them the same thing I say & post every year; "First Come, First Serve" in regards to getting on the roster.

If this is something you have done in the past and would like to continue with or would like to try out for the first time, send in your entry form & fees asap.

Guys for those shooters wanting to shoot a bigger match than the monthlys this is it, It's close you dont have to travel far, the fee is reasonable,and the match interesting, what are you waiting for,

Ray do you get assigned on a team or do you have to be chosen by one? I see there is a limit of 7 teams.

The team event is usually picked by the two shooters.. If you want to participate and you do not have someone to shoot with and there is another single shooter, Mark will pair you up with that person. There is no disadvantage to shooting the team event and it provides a substantial pool for the winners. 2010 Ryan and Randall had their match fee covered and still had $$ left over I believe...

well, lets say he has 7 teams or squads .In each sqad he puts 6 shooters, or 3 team made of 2 shooters.You let Mark know if you like to have a team shooter, you can choose the shooter ,that will be agreed amoung you two, then . he will put you in one of the 7 squads
If you dont have a team shooter and you still want to shoot as a team then he will assigne you a shooter, but each shooter shoots for his own score, at the end whichever two shooter has the highest score combined
will earn the first place as a team shooter.

Hey Men,
It's August and with the heat very busy at SCE so I am catching up on e-mails and PM's. According to the roster there are 4 slots open. I have not been to the Mail Outpost, so those entries are open unless there are entries in waiting down there that I haven't picked up.

If you want to participate, send in your entry and fees if the slots are not taken their yours. If not I can place you on stand by or return your entry which ever you decide.

On a different note, sponsors have been generous and new ones jumping in, so you competitors will be the beneficiary of their support. We will continue with what we started last year, winners 1-10 will have first choice of the prize table in that order and after that it will go to a raffle for the balance of competitors to pick from.

Mark, I am getting excited for this match. I always enjoy shooting it... I haven't been able to make it out to one of your regular matches this year, so its going to be interesting...

Hey Mark, ask your wife to bring extra pickles again this year.... I took home last years leftovers and my Niece ended up dropping the glass jar on the floor and I had pickles/glass all over the floor.....

Pickles? The kitchen isn't my AOR at the SCPRC, more so the playing field. However, I will make sure to send your concerns of extra pickles to the 2012 SCPRC's Food Commissioner.

Just to let you know, a few slots have opened that I was holding for some Mil-Type Folks that can't make it, so if you know a couple of people that want to shoot the SCPRC this year, have them send in their entries and fees ASAP.

Like all major matches, they are held on a year to year basis, no guarantees they will be around the following year. Allot of time and effort goes into these events as any MD and Staff know, you just never know when the last one is really the last one.
