I know that everybody has heard of them but has anybody been there? Its about an hour from my place and they have some good deals going on. I was wondering if its worth it. I am thinking about taking a carbine and handgun classs with my wife. I know I can check on calguns but I'd rather ask people I know and trust.

I have been once and I enjoyed my time there.
I have a diamond membership but I haven't had a chance to make use of it yet.

The training for the entry classes is "entry" level but I still learned some things and had a great time.

Never heard anything bad about the training. Their sales pitch and "used car salesman-esque" founder chap some peoples hide. If you get a good deal, you will be happy with the experience.

Yeah. I'm not a fan of the emails but the training is good

The one thing stopping me is that it seems like a sceme with all the emails and stuff. The advertising is over the top and seems fishy.

You're a lucky man to be in NV Eddie! I've heard good things about Front Sight and have a 3-day handgun class certificate which I'm yet to use.

You shooting Vegas in Nov.?

My buddy took the four day handgun class and enjoyed it. He's taken classes with guys like Pat McNamara, LMS Defense and stuff like that, so if he said it was good training I'm inclined to believe him.

A couple buddies and I are actually taking the four day carbine class next weekend, I'll try and write up an AAR when we get back.

I am not. I was saving for a new car and the wife didn't have a job coming out here. But I got new wheels and the wife is employed so I am going to try to shoot all the matches I can next year. I told Roy that I'm in to help with the match so I'll be there.

As others have said, the marketing of Front Sight is sleazy but the training there is excellent.

We should do a club run to some of their classes. It would be fun.

I have lots of 2 and 4 day FRONT SIGHT certificates for sale for cheap if anyone wants to go. Certificates are for rifle, pistol or shotgun. My advise would be to take the 4 day class as you do more things like going though a shoot house and man vs. man competition
