Precision bolt Rifle match WEGC July 20

Shooters of precision rifles.......& semi autos
Come on out and join us Sunday 7-20 for good times friendly competition. Bring 60 rnds of match ammo & all the usual safety gear eyes,ears, chamber flag etc.. We will have some for those who need a flag ($1)
We will shoot from many positions & props some traditional some not so much..expect to shoot from improvised positions.
Sign ups start @ 7:30 & we will go hot by 8 following the safety briefing don't be late!
Please no velocities higher than 3,100 to minimize damage to PBR steel .
Meet up by the PBR conex & hump your gear up to the 500m pad. Watch your speed coming thru the main range & be sure to check in with the range master let him know you are there for PBR.
Please RSVP to make sure we get you a target.

yeah... I also remember getting a flat on the top of the berm when a ran over the support post that was all tore up... 2nd time getting a flat on a range....

Yeah... that's when I learned the rationale of "foot pounds" of force while I was standing on the lug wrench trying to tighten the lug nuts....

Lug nuts only require about 80-100 lb-ft of torque. Last time I saw you, you were a bit beyond 100lbs....... Over torquing lug nuts can of course break studs, but also can distort the brake rotor, leading to vibration under braking.

I can't make it, coming back from Alaska tonight, truck still not fixed, won't be ready til Monday. Have fun guys! Also going pistol shopping with a couple friends, so not totally out of the game.
