If you get in, don't book a hotel just yet. One of our club members is working on a group discount rate at a hotel near the range. Plus, we might be at a different facility this time around.

Normally, if we can fill the spot, and we have a reasonable amount of time to do so, we'll refund money. However, if it's last minute, no. Not gonna refund it then. Plan accordingly. I wouldn't expect a refund if it's within two months of the match date. I don't even put in for matches if I think I'll have a schedule conflict. Sucks too because there are some really cool matches I'd like to shoot but I'd rather not hold a spot in limbo just in case I can make it and possibly screw someone else out of a spot. And yes, we've seen that happen with people cancelling with 24-48 hours notice.

So regarding the PRS series, which level of membership should I sign up for? Is the competitor + worth it, I plan to enter maybe 2 matches since I missed out on the vegas match signup.

The $50.00 one. The plus is if you plan on shooting more than 3.

Had reservations at holiday inn express in Tempe, but with the venue change I changed to beat western Goodyear. The price for holiday inn express in Goodyear was much more expensive and wasn't willing to pay it.

Then you got off cheap Steven. There's a hotel down the street from the Goodyear Stadium that is running $350 a night.
Also, I'm really sorry about the venue change, but it's totally going to benefit you guys. It's shaping up to be a really fun match. We're able to do a lot more at the new location as well. If any of you are NRA members, they have a discount code for the Days Inn in Buckeye (it's the closest chain hotel to the range) that knocks the price from $135 a night down to $100. Chronister has the code so you might want to get a hold of him if you haven't reserved accommodations yet.
The camping area closest to the range is less than a mile down the road from the facility. It's not very well traveled, and we'll have some RV's out there for the RO's who live elsewhere (like the east side of Phoenix or Chino Valley). You guys all know how to reach me, so if you need help arranging something let me know and I'll see what I can do to help.
