The California Precision Rifle Club is proud to announce their next centerfire match will be Sunday December 13th at the Angeles Ranges.

Signups start at 7:30am and shooting should start at 8:15am when the line goes hot.
Please arrive at the left side of the Angeles rifle range no later than 7:45am to sign-in and get assigned your shooter numbers.
Your shooters number is also your position on the line so please lineup accordingly.

Match fee is $10 for Caprc members or $30 for non members.
The match fee also includes use of the range after the match is completed.
We usually finish by 1pm.
Bring 70 rounds of match grade ammo.
Be prepared to shoot as close as 10yds and as far as 600yds.
Be prepared to shoot from standing, kneeling, seated, prone and other improvised positions.
Bring a backpack to shoot off of for stages that don't allow a bipod.



This match is open to bolt action and semi-auto rifles from 223 up through 308.
A velocity limit of 3200 fps will be in effect to reduce damage to club-owned steel targets.
Bipods, slings, shooting mats and rear bags are allowed and recommended.
Chamber flags are mandatory and are available from the club if needed.



Line helper RSVP's will be accepted anytime.
Member RSVP's will be accepted anytime.
Non-member RSVP's will be accepted anytime.

Please RSVP by posting "I am in" or "I will be there" as we will ignore "maybe" or "if" RSVP's.
If you RSVP and later figure out that you can't come, please post that as well so we can keep the RSVP list current.

Yeah, I've had that happen a bunch....most recently while working on Shameless......... an absolutely morally sick fucking show...... yet I had a rough time getting on any site remotely firearm related.

I will be at ASR tomorrow but just to shoot my new 6.5CM for the very first time.....zero it and maybe do a modified/short version of a barrel break in.

Enjoy the match folks.

The irony.

In a related story, and this was years ago....but one time I was dropping something off late @ night at Warner Brothers, and the building I was going to was immediately adjacent to the gate I pulled up to. The conversation went like this:

Security Guard: Where are you headed tonight?

Me: I have to drop off at THAT building, right THERE...

Security Guard: I'm sorry, but you're going to have to go around to the gate on the other side of the lot...

Me: Are you fucking serious?

Security Guard: (angrily) There is NO CURSING on the Warner Brothers lot!

Me: What the fuck are you talking about?

Security Guard: That's it! I'm reporting you to my supervisor, and you are going to be banned from this lot

Me: Yeah, you go get your supervisor...I'd like to have a word with him too...

I was not banned...still work for Warner Bros., and I never saw that guard again. Just sayin.

Fantastic match! I was really impressed with seeing how several of you guys were shooting today! Probably the best I've seen Esteban and Henry G shoot. And damn...Solo ... Gonna start calling you The Flash! Congrats to the winners and thank you Rich and Henry for running an efficient contest.

So Henry and I checked with people in the office and on the line as well as looked in that area and there was nothing. They did find my water bottle. Apparently that was not worth keeping for anyone. Sorry man, that sucks.
