When are the matches and who can participate?

Hi All,

I'm trying to figure out when the monthly matches are held. Is it the 2nd or 3rd Sunday of every month? Are these announced/confirmed in advance or is it safe to assume there will always be a monthly match on the designated Sunday? Can anyone participate, or do you need to be a CPRC member?

Looking forward to participating.

Cheers,

schills

Every other 2nd Sunday with practices held between i.e. this coming Sunday is a practice and February will be a match. Non-members welcome. The matches/practices are announced in the sub forum for local matches.

Read this.

Dec 13th was the last match day and January 10th is the next practice day. You will find matches listed under the Monthly Matches forum and practices listed under CaPRC Instructional Clinics.

Edit: Sorry Capnjon we must have been typing at the same time......even though it says 6 mins apart, I never saw your reply or I would have just let yours be the answer.

Just want to make sure I have this right. The next match is on Feb 14. I should get there at 7:30 for signup.

Two questions. . . does the match then start right at 8:30am, or is there time to shoot once the line is hot and before the match starts? Also, how long do the matches typically run? Trying to manage family expectations on Valentine's Day.

Cheers,

There is no time to shoot before the match. You need to have a good zero and DOPE. Should be done around 1pm or so.
