As far as I know there is no one around to run one.

When does Rich get back from Beer Fest?

Rich in in Germany for Oktoberfest until October 7th.
There were supposed to be like 6 people that were going to take turns running matches.
Perhaps one of the other 5 people can plan something.

We never had the R.O. class....

Second the above, I don't know anyone besides Rich who is an R.O.

FYI Rich is planning to leave CA in the near future also.

RSO classes are put on by NRA Instructors through the NRA, not our gun club. Anyone can go to the NRA site, punch in their zip code, and find out when and where the next RSO class is. I just did it and there are 5 classes in the general SFV area this month.

Thing is there was an effort to have the club pay for several people to become RSO certified, but nothing came of it. Club's decision somehow to let money in the bank just sit there rather than go towards an effort to keep itself going. I'm thinking of getting the cert on my own so I can run the WEGC matches. Angeles is too far for me to set up, since it would be a day and a half commitment, half day saturday (evening to set up) and all day sunday since teardown is in the evening with 3 hours driving each day.

$50 for the class and it's done AT Angeles.
The club would pay the $50 tuition for any current club members that want to take that class and then help run CAPRC matches/clinics/shoots in the future.

I'm game, I'll take the class. I've been wanting to try running a match and Angeles is much closer than WEGC for me.

We have a global sales meeting at work mid nov, I just don't know the date. If its not o the 19th I'm down. More then willing to help a Veteran shooter RO a match, getting tired of practicing.

I signed up to take the RSO course on November 19 2016.

My Global meeting is the following weekend. Im signed up for Nov 19th.

I registered for the Nov 19th class as well.
