Hi guy's, sign ups are open for the last Team Challenge of the year, because daylight will be short, we're dropping the field stage, so no pistol or runnin and gunnin this time, we should be done plenty early. COF follows:

2010 BRRC Team Challenge IV Tactical Match
Saturday December 18
Sign up; 0800, $40 per team
This is a two man team event limited to 12 teams
No laser range finding equipment will be permitted

Stage 1- Buddy Shot 100 yards
Each team member will fire two shots through three different loopholes while using his team mate for positional support, no sighters will be permitted, time limit 15 minutes, ammunition requirement, 6 rounds per team member. (Scoring: 1 point per hit)

Stage 2- Dot Drill, 100yards
The team will fire one round for record on twenty ½ MOA dots, sighters will be permitted, time limit 15 minutes, ammunition requirement, 10 rounds per team member plus sighters. (Scoring: 1 point per hit)

Stage 3- Unknown Distance
The team will be given 15 minutes to range and fire upon a series of targets at unknown distances from approximately 200 to 800 yards, the team members will take turns engaging the targets in order, ammunition requirement, 8 rounds per team member. (Scoring: 3 points per hit)

NOTE stages 1 through 3 will be fired concurrently, after completing a stage the team will proceed with their equipment to the next stage.

Stage 4 – Movers 600 yards
Team member A will fire 20 rounds upon a color designated moving target in four minutes, team member B will spot for the firing team member during the firing period, after the end of the firing period the team members will exchange places and a new four minute firing period will begin. No sighters will be permitted. (Scoring: 1 point per hit)


Pre registration is required, if you don’t have a team mate I will squad you with another solo on match day, please contact Gary Eliseo to sign up or with any questions

Damn, the field stage is THE best stage!! Are you sure we have to eliminate it!? Regardless, I'm still in solo or with a partner, I'll let you know. Thanks Gary!!

I'm with you, really dig the field stage too, but the UKD will be extra nice this time to make up for it ;)

We still have room for a few more teams, join us for a fun day shooting with your friends, as usual if you dont have a team mate, no problem, I'll squad you with another solo on match day, anyone who shows up will get to shoot. If you'd like to preview the course I'll be setting up on Friday the 17th.

It looks like the weather is not going to co operate this weekend as the forecast is for a significant rain event starting Friday and going through early next week, because of this Saturday's Team Challenge is CANCELED, the next event will be Saturday March 26th, we will keep the course of fire the same, also we are planning a tactical shooting clinic for sometime in February, it will be a good chance to practice unknown distance and moving targets in time for the March Team Challenge, I'll post the details as soon as they are finalized.
