Today's match was awesome with 21 shooters including 4 fngs who were brave enough to jump into the game & help our sport grow, you guys did great & hope to see you again. Thanks to Lou & Brian for laying down your rifles to help spot & keep the match Rollin as smooth as it did, it's greatly appreciated brothers. Thanks to all who helped set up the mover because without your help we would have gotten a later start for sure.

For this match we utilized an iPad & big Joes phone hooked up to a vortex monocular that recorded the stage helping out in a few contested calls, when questions arose all we did was go over the footage to satisfy the call made. Anything that helps in scoring is also greatly appreciated.

We started on the 500m pad for the first 6 stages then finished off at the 200m pad utilizing the new area off to the right. Weather was perfect for a day of shooting with the homies. Congrats to the winners circle! With a challenging cof you guys earned your spots!!

6 from 500pad and 2 from 200pad

Stage 1 - SoCal pool party
10 rounds - 120 sec shoot time - prep while shooter before you is shooting
Targets - 80 yd blue/purple pool ball paper, 220yds red/green, 320yds (black tooth) black/brown. 150yd pepper poppers yellow/orange
Starting prone with mag in and bolt back
On beep shooters will engage pool balls in order of 1-8. All targets must be hit to advance and they must be hit in the correct order or the player will "scratch". The Black 8 target will be worth 30 points but a miss on this target counts as a "scratch" and a zero for the stage.


Stage 2 - mover holdovers (no touching knobs)
9 rounds - 90 seconds shoot time - prep while shooter before you is shooting
Targets 150yd little man, 240yd t-post flapper, mover flapper
Starting prone with mag in and bolt back
On beep shooters with engage each target with 1 round each and advance to the next hit or miss. Repeat the shooting order 3 times.

Stage 3 -Call your shot positional (2 shooters at a time)
6 rounds - 90 seconds prep time - 90 seconds shoot time.
Targets at 320 yards. 10 points for Large target.15 points for small target
Shooters will shoot an option of a large 12” or a small 8” target from a seated position. Shooters must clearly call out to their spotter which target before stage start or if they decide to change target after stage begins. Shooters may only change target once!
Shooters may only use a sling and glove or shemagh. No other means of support to rifle or shooter’s body allowed.
Joe scored 5 hits for the highest amount of hits.

Stage 4 - Race to the middle ( 2 shooters at a time)
10 rounds - No time limit - No prep
Targets 150yd pepper poppers (2), 220yd LV double flapper, 8" on t-post (2), 320yd LV double flapper
Starting standing behind rifle with mag in and bolt back.
Must hit to advance
On beep shooter will engage the 150yd pepper popper with 2 successful shots, shooter will then transition to the top of the bench and engage their LV flapper target with 2 successful shots, shooter will then transition to the barricade and engage the 8" target at 220yds with 2 successful shots, shooter will then transition to the prone position and engage their 320 LV flapper with 2 successful shots. The first person to successfully clear the stage will earn an additional 20pts as long as no hits are made on the LV hostages. -10 for hostage hits on LV flappers

Stage 5- Nates moving
9 rounds - 100 seconds - no prep
Target 12" mover target
Starting outside nates house with mag out and bolt back.
On beep shooter will crawl inside nates house and engage the mover with 3 shots from each upper window of nates house.
Shooters body must be completely inside nates house while shooting. Shooter must exit before time is up or they will receive a 30pt penalty. Shooters will be given a 30sec warning before time is up.
Aaron scored 50pts for the highest hits.

Stage 6 - Dueling tree spinner
10 rounds -100sec shoot time - no prep
Targets 320yd dueling tree/ 220yd dueling tree - 220yd MGM spinner
Starting prone with mag in and bolt back
On beep shooter will engage the MGM spinner. Shooter will attempt to spin the target with as many rounds are needed. Once RO says the target has spun the shooter will engage the 220yd dueling tree from top to bottom. Once both targets have been successfully hit the shooter will transition to the 320yd dueling tree and engage from top to bottom with 1 round each until hit.
Shooter will earn 30pts for spinning the spinner and 10pts for each dueling tree target hit.

Stage 7 - KYL off the bench (MARK A style with no rear bags)
5 rounds - 60 sec shoot time - prep while shooter before you is shooting
Targets 220 KYL rack
Starting with rifle on bench with mag in and bolt back
Pts - 5, 10, 15, 20, 25
On beep shooter will engage the KYL rack with 1 round each from largest to smallest. Shooters may stop at any time. A miss = a 0 for the stage
Jason & Henry cleaned the rack for an amazing 75 pts having the confidence to go for broke till the last tiny 2" triangle. Awesome shooting bros

Stage 8 - Mall Shootout (200 yd pad)
8 Rounds AK - 6 Rounds rifle - No prep time - 90 second shoot time.
AK targets 200yd IPSC & 100yd 1/3 IPSC popper
Rifle targets 180yd rock chuck & 220yd 6" MGM popper
5 pts per AK hit 10 per rifle hit
Shooter's rifle will begin staged at final position with mag out, bolt back. No other gear.
AK will be staged on table with mag in and bolt open.
Shooters must carry mags and any gear to be used throughout stage.

You are stuck shopping in a mall when a hostile takeover happens. You grab a nearby AK that one of the insurgents left, yelling "Aloha Snack Bar!!" in an effort to distract them with an offer of food so you can get the drop on them. Engage the 200y IPSC with 4 rounds from the first firing position. Then move to second position and engage 100y 1/3 IPSC with 4 more rounds. Once AK is shown empty to RO, shooter can then safely place AK on mat and grab their rifle to engage rifle targets from designated final firing position. Rifle targets start with the Rock Chuck. Once hit shooter moves to MGM Popper. Once impacted shooter may go back to Rock Chuck and repeat until out of ammo.
Arthur & Danny had the highest score with 75 pts with 3 hits with the AK & 6 on the poppers with the precision rifle.
