Re: Long Range Rifle Match 07-26-15 North County San Diego,
Took 3rd at Pala today. All rounds were 1 shot at a 2MOA tgt and 1 shot at a 1MOA tgt from 300yds out to 885. Line was full with 20 to 30 shooters. I was gathering dope while shooting and hit 10 of 15 shots. 2nd hit 11 and 1st hit 12. But they weren't dope gathering lol. Got a chrono to read two shots from my rifle. 2971 and 2976. Wish it would have read 3-5, but if it stays in that area I'm happy. 105 bergers bested the 8-12 mph winds, showing the 6.5's and 300WM what's up on the furthest targets. Almost have my ballistic app matched up with my notes from today!

Straight 243win. Think I'm just gonna stay with it. For now. I can always get the alpha mags without the plate for some more mag length as well.

For those that have never been to Pala. Steel goes up the hill all the way to 890.
