Ok I took my friend shooting and he's left handed, right eye dominant haha
I told him how to dial the scope and how to hold the rifle and all that stuff. He hit the targets I called out to him on the first try and it's his first time shooting anything bigger than a 22. So he's a good learner. He shot the rifle right handed since he's semi-ambidextrous. My question is do think he should just shoot as a righty then? I don't really see any other way for him to shoot. Advice?
I would recommend he just shoot right handed if he is ambidextrous. Most gear is set up for right handers and its better to use your dominate eye.

I'm leaft eye dominant and right handed but I've acclimated to shooting with my right eye. I still use my left eye to operate cameras and for archery. You just have to find what's most comfortable.
