Had a great time.. Ended up cleaning 3 stages and only zeroing the cold bore... Now I just have to be able to make hits off the rooftop and through the fence...

Thank goodness for mullets. I was able to pick this guy 2x's out of a photo lineup at 75 yards and engage him 3x's each. One of several stages I cleaned

Thanks to everyone who showed up and especially to everyone who helped out.
We had beautiful weather and a fun, safe match.
Our intention with the c.o.f. was to push you a little bit out of your comfort zone yet still doable. We saw some great shooting from the top finishers.
I'm sure Rich G will follow up soon with the official AAR.

Just wanted to say thanks guys, I had a blast. The guys that set it up and ran the match was awesome and thank you so much for a great course of fire (I would name you but I am not good with names and I just meet you today). Looking forward to coming back out and shooting in more matches. This was my first match and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Oscar "Sean"
I know I confuse myself sometime. First name oscar but middle name is Sean, my friends call me Sean but all legal stuff under oscar, that's why the name shawscar... Had a blast thanks again guys.

It was a lot of fun, I liked the stages I haven't tried before, especially the spin 4X one that I tanked. Thanks for putting on a great match!

Re: January 19th, Precision Bolt Rifle @ WEGC
Rather than post a new thread for the AAR I'll just post it here since we already knew the places.
First off thank you guys for coming out!!!

We had good weather today with very little wind making a perfect day for shooting, had a very good turn out with a total of 21 shooters including myself. Thanks to Joe & James for running the stages and coming up with a very fun & challenging course of fire.
Glad to see 2 new shooters come out & join in the action ....Oscar with some excellent shooting & making it his first match this guy will be a very good contender.... Ryan was another first timer, good to see you at our matches bro!! Jon was our other new shooter but was unable to finish due to experiencing some back pain..better safe than sorry.
We had 10 stages and went thru about 53 rnds.
Stage 1 was at the 200m line 2" shoot n see
Stage 2 was at the 300m line 5" shoot n sees 5rnds
Stage 3 was the target I'd stage at the 80 yd line..you were given a mug shot of your target & had 6 rnds to put in each face after you found it.
Stage 4 was the color chip memory stage, shooters pulled 5 color coded chips & had to run & touch my 4runners bumper back to there gun & engage the color coded targets in order of the chips by memory. It was very easy to forget your order!!!
Stage 5 was head shots only at close qtrs any position... Standing or kneeling
Stage 6 was the tank trap....at the 200m 6" target with 6 rnds
Stage 7 we brought back the chain link fence where the shooter had to put his barrel thru any link above the center bar at 300m 12" ipsc popper.
Stage 8 was the vertigo stage... Shooters had to spin around 4 rotations with their forehead touching a bat and dropping to their gun and engaging the 2" diamonds at the 200m line 7 rnds.. It was quite a challenge because as soon as you dropped behind your gun your head was still spinning.
Stage 9 was the reverse rooftop.... 5 rnds at the 300m ipsc. This was a challenge no doubt, trying to find a stable position on the reverse side of the rooftop was almost impossible!
Stage 10 was the barrel burner stage.. With the rooftop turned sideways shooters had 10rnds to hit hanging targets back & forth between the 200m & 300m targets font to back and left to right. If you missed you had to re-engage to advance.
1st place went to Henry S 460 pts
2nd place went to Brandon 430pts
3rd place went to Aaron 410 pts
4th Rich C 400pts.... Very close to 3rd tocayo
5th James 390
6th Joe V 380
7th Steven 380
8th Jason 380
9th Oscar 340... His first match, great job!
10th Nathan 330
11th Rich G 330 & took top 308 with my gas gun
12th Danny 310
13th Henry G 310
14th Esteban 300
15th Brett 270
16th Joe H 250
17th Julian 210
18th Jose 190
19th Ryan 110..... His first match also, good job & glad you came out!
20th Trent 90
21st John DNF

I shot my 6x45mm with ammo was loaded on a progressive press..... with unprepped mixed headstamp range pickup brass, throwing a WAG midrange charge of Benchmark powder. Probably a fluke.
