NCPPRC April Match and Practice

Post by vu308 »

All,

It looks like we are going to have a full house and then some in April for both Saturday and Sunday.

I need a firm head count for those that are coming up for the match because we plan to have a BBQ afterwards if we are not flooded with all this rain.

New fees: 10.00 for practice.
25.00 for Shooting Class Members to shoot the match.

Check out http://www.ncpprc.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for more details.

Same ole faces.

What happened to these other cats that talk about how bad they wanna come up and shoot.

It's the "No Shooter Left Behind" COF so things are going to be nice and easy.

I'm one of those that says I want to, but just can't. You'll start seeing my smiling face after I'm done with this semester of school though. Somehow I got the bright idea that I could take 19 units and work 30 hours a week, all while trying to see the girlfriend on weekends. Didn't think that one through.

PSHHHHHHHHHH, is that it? How old are you? If you are under 30, you don't even need sleep. Grab one of your CAPRC members and do a midnight run up saturday night, shoot sunday, and run home. You will be gone less than 24 hours.

And if you think that is crazy, we are hitting vegas in May so I will see you boys down there. 9 hours there, shoot, 9 hours back. Plan to be back in time so I can shoot up here Sunday.

Nice!
An Ironman weekend is when you travel 1000 miles and shoot 2 matches.

It's 400 miles from LA to Sac but we drive around some and often end up over 900 miles for a weekend up there.
When we do LA to Vegas and Prescott and back, it's right about 1000 mile round-trip.
From Sac to Vegas, it's more like 575 each way if you go through bakersfield or 535 if you go through tonopah.

You missed some good windy shooting.
Fuck sac valley wind... I got destroyed at 900 and 1k. I didn't rack up hardly any points in the last 18 shots of the match. Lol

Yup, home field dont mean shit when you can't keep up with the conditions....or shoot the right target. =(

Any time Dennis Lorenzo says "man, I can't keep up with the wind shifts", the means most of the field is screwed.
