WEGC PBR Match April 17, 2011-MATCH RESULTS
Hey Men,
Sorry for the late post, Sunday evenings are always tough until everything settles down.
Ok we had 13 shooters today and alot of back and forth. It took awhile for everyone to get warmed up, but once the engines got fired up away we go. James brought a roof, thank you it worked in well.
We had only 3 people make the cold bore at 500+ Yards, Keith, Henry and Joe who was late and walked right up to the line and drilled the shot. Way to do it Joe!
James won the Man v Man stage. It helped alot in the end James, but Henry & Joe had a few more shots during the beginning that kept them just ahead. However, good recovery going into the last stages of the match. Good job!
Henry won the fastest 5 shot speed drill with a clean score of 18.63", Good Job Henry! The time off didn't hurt.
Next Month I will have medallions as you guys requested. 1,2,3, fastest speed drill and Top .308.
Here is the order of finish.
1) Joe Villegas-466 Points
2) Henry Song-446 Points
3) James Jeffries-409 Points
4) Nathan Webnar-369 Points
5) Kurtis Kreslake-338 Points
6) Keith Nelson-327 Points
7) Rich "Machete" Gonzalez-287 Points
8) Scott Cochran-269 Points
9) Steven Rogers-268 Points (darn I hate those 1 & 2 point differences)
10) Brett Christiansen-203 Points
11) Aaron Gifford-165 Points
12) Rolando Fernandez-97 Points
13) Freddie Bedford-68 Points

Re: WEGC PBR Match April 17, 2011
Hey Guys,
For those of you meeting up for breakfast, we usually meet up at Denny's off of Baseline and the I-15 between 0530-0545 so we can eat and be at the range by 0630 to begin set up.
For those of you not meeting up, be at the range 500 Yard Pad by 0730 and then we will start to check in. Please park your cars down below the 500 Yard Pad and walk up. We will shoot there for about 2-3 Hours and then move up and finish up at either the 300 or 200 yard line.
As before Steel and Paper. Also I didn't get medallions for this month and want to talk to you guys that shoot on what direction you would like to see that go. I will probably add a $3 per shooter for that if we do it on a monthly basis which is fine with me. The $20.00 dollar fee goes directly to the club and the additional fee can go to the purchase of the medallions. Any shortages I will pick up. I may also use another vendor not sure. We can talk about it on Sunday.
Also, James is bringing a roof prop so that will be some fun. See you Sunday
Mark

Mark,
That was an excellent match and I think overall I finished better than I have at any of your matches.... Keep the Mano e Mano format... that was fun... That extra second pulling out the chamber flagg cost me 30 points.... Oh well, live and learn...
Post up your photos and Vid's when you can...

Mark, fun match as always. The man vs. man stage really got everyones adrenaline going. The rooftop was interesting. And of course shooting a high amount of steel is always goodtimes.
Henry, really close times on that last stage. I think i let my shot go just a fraction of a second sooner.
James, I felt like I was shooting against a semiauto :o
Alot of good runs from everyone today.
And I apologize for my tardiness and appreciate everyone letting me shoot anyways.

I shot 56rds. I know that's because I went all the way in man-on-man which was 12 shots for me but I think 50 is a good number for a small morning match.ColdSteel wrote:Great match guys.
