Hey Men,
We are having our Monthly Match at West End Gun Club this Sunday. Set up at 0630, check-in @ 0730 and we begin at 0800. $20.00 entry fee and $5.00 into the medallion kitty. We have added another medal; Man v Man this month since the Man on man stage was a hit.
Bring 80 rounds to be safe, typically we shoot around 50 rounds. However if you make it to the Man on Man it may be higher to around 60 rounds.
We usually end between 1200-1300. Meet up at the 500, park down below and walk up.
See you Sunday, Mark
Please let me know if you are coming so I know how many to prep for, thx.

Not sure Steven. If Mark wants it then ill bring it.
Hey James,
Did you add the small step to the roof? Also, would you be opposed to adding a small porthole about 9"x9" or 12"x12" or something like that to shoot through. Perhaps an oval. Bring it out, but I know the step would help.

If you want it i'll bring it.
Where are you thinking a porthole would work at? I was considering making a barricade soon with some portholes. Might be able to build something up saturday.
Anyone think I would have a problem getting a f-body camaro out there? I saw Randals post about lowriders, but I am just double checking.
Also, would anyone happen to have a link to the course of fire from the last months match so I know what I am getting into. If they are similar to the CAPRC matches then I will just use that as a reference.

Much appreciated.
There was no COF posted last month. Have your DOPE ready to shoot out to 600yds and prepare to get your brain twisted up and make mistakes. Its all part of shooting your first match. We've all been there.
Good to Go Men,
I am wrapping up and will meet up at Denny's between 0530-0545 off of I-15 & Baseline. It may sprinkle a little bit, either way we shoot.
Bring enough ammo, maybe a rain jacket and whatever else you may need to keep you happy.
If you are meeting at the range, park down below the 500 yard pad and walk up. Check in begins at 0730.
I might not make it. My gf needed my car and I am not 100% that she will bring it back in time tomorrow morning for me to get to the range on time. I'll do my best.
My right hand is sore and tight from being so cold today. Seriously is that bad?
That was the most miserable i've been in a very long time. I can handle being cold.. i can handle being wet... but i can't handle being wet AND cold My trucks temp said 47deg as i was leaving the range
Oh well... even with as bad as i was shivering i was having fun shooting at least. Thanks Mark! I think we need to use the barricades more often!!
Of course you know that the sun came out and it stopped raining after you left. I end up in the final round of man v man and lost to the new guy Ray. Total of 3 people dropped out early due to weather/zero issues
By the time I left the damage had already been done. I took a warm shower and changed clothes right when I got home but im still freezing. I think I need to defrost.

Steven is making it sound better than it was. Yes, we did have some sporadic sun and it did stop raining toward the end but the 20-30mph cold wind gusts didn't do much to warm our soaking clothing. Scott did a damn good impression of a woman peeing........... :o
