July NCPPRC LR match results

Post by Pthfndr »

Posted by Vu on the NCPPRC forum. Congrats to James on his 2nd place finish

We had 52 shooters come out today.

Temps were almost 80 by the time we kicked off, and probably right around 100 degrees by the time we were done @ 12:30pm

Winds were tricky and switchy all day long. Wind flags were tied down as well. Thank you Rob

Congrats to D-Lo for taking home another win!

Team GFY takes home 1st place for the teams. Good thing Jacob and Shawn remember how to shoot.

We had an awesome weekend with the norcal crew. couldn't be a better bunch of guys to shoot with. although we got blamed all weekend for bring the heat up there with us. it was damn warm both days. congrats to James on doing us proud and pulling off his 2nd place spot! Now Nathan on the other hand did fucking awesome! He tied for 21st. the top 20 shooters were all 2nd relay. he was shooting some tight groups all the way to 900. Ofcourse once once 1k came up it was game over for me and he did a much better job of reading the wind. we were neck and neck until 1k where I only scored one hit out of 12 shots. you kicked ass Nathan!

What a Fun match I wish never to repeat!! Hot does not even come close to describing how bad it was! Was really happy with the coaching and advice on practice day! Would not have done near as good as I did with out that. Match was awesome and very challenging at the same time. Thanks to the Nor-Cal boys for letting us up there. Pretty stoked to finally shoot a good at a match. Now I just have to wash rinse and repeat!

Good job Nathan and Brian. You guys did great for it being your first SacValley trip. It was great to see how stoked Nathan was with his results.

So when are we going again? :)

Glad you guys made it up. Great shooting James, those winds were very tricky on Sunday.

Flags one way, mirage different way, wind on your face another way.

Thanks for the beers at Hooters gentlemen. Hopefully my place we'll be squared away by the next time you guys are up.

good job guys!! You did not bring the heat with you.. It was over 100 here too... though it made for excellent conditions for spotting trace... About 5 of us down here showed at at ASR and shot.

Hope to make it up sometime to Sac. Rob/Vu, thanks for the results.

Next month will be COF 1 I think, the positional with no rear support out to 600. Should be a good time.

We'll be doing a BBQ and have our quarterly board meeting to take care of.
