Long Range Rifle Match 01-26-14 North County San Diego, CA.
Any scoped bolt action or semi-auto rifle. Calibers from .223 up to and including .338.
All targets will be shot from the prone position (if you are physically handicapped you may use a bench) from a covered firing line, any front and rear rest. Distances will vary from one hundred to eight hundred eighty five yards, paper and steel targets, forty rounds maximum.
There may be a short sight in period prior to the match and the range will be open for practice for NSCA members and guest until 4:00 pm. after the match.
No pre-registration required, just show up by 8:00 am.

Yup. I have shot this match a few times. Just show up. There will be a brief period where you can make sure your zeroed then the match will begin.

The match was a total of 20 shots but I ended up tying for match winner so we had a shoot off. That was 3 more shots at a 692 yard target, 1 on the target which we both hit. Then a head shot which the other shooter missed completely but my shot hit below shoulder level so it didn't count. Next shot the other shooter missed again, I made a minor correction and hit claiming the victory. I had a lot of fun and hope I am able to shoot the next one.

Congrats on the win. Love the recap. There are ao many cool matches like this in the West. Love it. Wish we had more stuff like here in the south. #envy
