Wegc PBR AAR 5-18-14

Post by bcrich »

Today's match was run by Nathan with 8 stages & 13 shooters, we had 5 new shooters come out & take part in PBR hope you guys & Lil lady enjoyed yourself in this very challenging & fun match.
Places are as follow.
1st place James J 341 pts
2nd place Aaron 262
3rd place Nate 227
4. Julian 215 ---took top 6.5mm award. Good job bro almost took 3rd ;)
5. Rich 195
6. Kaelyn 144 This lil lady can shoot & is only 10!! Great job
7. Netza 80 ---took top 308 using surplus 145g ammo..nice job!
8. Joe H 58
9. James R 49 shot his 3 gun AR using 1-3 power scope.. Very tough in this game.
10/11 Daniel & Jason tied 20 after figuring out the guns zero they were getting hits.. Good recovery!
12. Brett C 10
13. Doug M took the mag toss stage getting the closest potato to the center. You got skills brother :)

Stage 1 was the cold bore shot @ 300m 3" shoot n see.. Aaron had the high score of 27pts

Stage 2 was the same target but with 5 rnds.. James had the highest score of 47 with Aaron close behind with a 45.

Stage 3 was the new fun stage Nates Hell Hole, where the shooter had to crawl thru the shoot house & shoot thru the ports in 3 min, neg 30 pts if you didn't get out on time! James scored the highest ..100pts nice job!

Stage 4was 5 rnds using the barrel any position you wanted. Aaron & James both scored 40pts

Stage 5 was up down & around where 5 rnds were place on the table behind the shooter & had to run to the edge of the concrete pad & back to grab a rnd & engage the 200 m steel 5x in 60 sec.
Lil Kaelyn cleaned the stage scoring 50pts showing us old guys how the kids do it.. Daddy is very proud (right James;))

Stage 6 in the ghetto 6 rnds thru the chain link fence in 50 sec @ 200m & 300m steel 3 shots then change position for another 3 shots .. I guess because I'm from the ghetto I shot the highest score of 60 pts go figure?? Ha!

Stage 7 was the mag toss stage, for you guys that shot the march match where Nate tossed his mag in a rage for it jamming on him into the Jr range 50 yds out. Each shooter tossed a potato with his/her # on it in honor of Nates historic toss. Closest to the center won the medal... Than was Doug M, showing he is skilled in the art of tossing potatoes with great precision.
The barricade was used in conjunction with this stage.. 6 rnds in 40 sec using each position of the barricade 2 shots each @ 200m steel ... James & Nate both scored 30 pts for the highest scores.

Stage 8 was the Kyl stage starting at the 200 m steel largest to smallest then 300 m largest to smallest
Shooters loose all pts once they missed. Nate cleaned the stage for a score of 50 pts..awesome!!

Big thanks to Nate & James for running this match,

Thanks Charlie, when I write something up I really have no clue what to say so I just try & include everybody on a personal level pointing out the positives & hope that it encourages a return. Pointing out the stage highest scores seems like a good pat on the back for the skilled shooter ha! I appreciate all the help from the shooters...spotters,Rso, & range hands that run down range & pick up the steel & put it back in the conex box (Big Joe) thanks homie!! I only hope that Randall & Brad get the same help I get while we try our best to keep having matches because let me tell you... This is NOT a sought after position. HELP your directors as Charlie has encouraged us all.
