Gary,
Do you allow bipods in this match. Say for the dot drill?

Re: BRRC September Team Challenge sign ups
Sure bipod and rear bags are fine, the idea is basically anything (practical) you would carry into the field

Re: BRRC September Team Challenge sign ups
Hi guy's,
I just wanted to let you know that we have a few spots left for next Saturday's match, if you would like to participate but don't have a team mate that's no problem, I have a few solos signed up so I can squad you with another shooter on match day, I'll be setting up the course on Friday the 24th, please contact me if interested.
Thanks Gary

Re: BRRC September Team Challenge sign ups
2010	Team Challenge III After Action Report
We had several last minute cancellations but six teams showed up this time, we started out with the “buddy shot” a new stage where the team had to engage a two MOA target at 100 yards with the rifle supported by one team member, the shooter had to fire through three “loopholes” at differing heights, the stage proved to be quite difficult with only two teams scoring hits, team 6 (Eliseo/Morita) won the stage with two hits of a possible six.
The “dot drill” came back again after the first appearance last June when the teams found it much more difficult than expected, the teams were required to engage twenty ½ MOA dots in ten minutes, obviously practicing after the last time the scores were much better this time around, team 3 (Tardif/Raeder) won the stage with a score of 13 of a possible 20.
Then came the “field course” this time was run at the wide end of the canyon and was very challenging, the teams started the stage at the firing line and moved to a barricade where one team member engaged steel at roughly 200 yards while the other fires upon steel at about 300 yards, they then had to move to a long range pistol stage where they engaged cardboard torso targets from roughly 30 to 90 yards, very tough with a combat pistol, more short range pistol targets followed then the team ended up at a long range unknown distance stage where they were required to engage steel and balloons from about 200 to 850 yards, all this in a time limit of 18 minutes, the husband wife team 4 (Thomas/Thomas) won the stage with great LR pistol scores aided by a scoped Ruger Redhawk with a score of 15 of a possible 30.
We finished the match with the moving target stage fire at 600 yards, where each team member fired 20 shots in a four minute period aided by his team mate spotting for him, the stage requires good communication between the team, the spotters role is critical in this stage he must spot the shooters trace and direct the shooter to adjust his lead to maximize hits, team 3 won the stage with a score of 26 of a possible 40.
In the end team 3 (Tardif/Raeder) won the gold, team 6(Eliseo/Morita) took silver and team 4 (Thomas/Thomas) got the bronze
Tardif/Raeder 0 13 13 26 52
Eliseo/Morita 2 11 14 15 42
Thomas/Thomas 0 8 15 14 37
Mediana/Hwang 0 9 8 17 34
Mendoza/Santiago 0 2 13 7 22
The next Team Challenge is planned for December 18, we are planning a clinic/practice day for those who would like a chance to familiarize themselves with the range and the course of fire as well as get a chance to practice the various events we have, and as soon as a date has been determined I’ll be announcing it.
Best regards, Gary Eliseo
