That's a very golf-oriented approach to match shooting. Keep your mind in the present. Shoot the match one shot at a time and keep your mind on that one shot. Concentrate on the shot you are taking right now rather than past shots or future shots. Thinking about blown past shots or possible future shots will only hurt the shot you are taking right now.
Am I the only one who noticed that the top four shooters in the last match were all golfers?
Lol. I found that my game improved after a couple...which shows you how poor I play to begin with. After I recently bought some new clubs (coming from my grandpas old set), I started to hit the ball much better. But that little glimmer of hope I held of actually being to be able to play well left pretty quickly after a few rounds.

Yes, it was me. I'm pretty sure I moved over by error from target 13 to 15 on the standing-sitting-kneeling-prone.
I thought I got 2 dead center hits from the kneeling because that was a solid position for me. My rifle is 17 lbs and I
cannot shoot with any accuracy from the standing offhand at 100 yards so those probably missed the whole target.

Be carefull what you wish for.
Par times can be cut in half and no verbal description of stages.
I can also do a match with no prone stages.
I can be THE BITCH.
Have a nice day.
